The SkySwitch Mesh VSAT Network service is the first of its kind in Africa and is operated out of London by Intersat (UK) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intersat Africa Limited headquartered in Nairobi. The Intersat team is made up of experienced and qualified staff who have established major projects in the satellite communication field recently.

Partners In Africa
The First SkySwitch Gateway in Africa is installed at Kenya Data Networks (KDN) in Nairobi. This will allow remote offices to directly link with their Head offices in Nairobi on KDN's vast wireless and fiber-optic infrastructure. Similar gateways will be installed shortly in Kinshasa, Lagos, Dar-Es-Salaam and most parts of Africa for intra-country connectivity.
